This year my German Chamomile bloomed. What a dream! I have been harvesting blooms almost every day that will find their way into my evening tea. The blackberry bush has also been providing a sweet treat almost every day too. This morning was an abundant 7 giant berries…that look gorgeous alongside the chamomile.

As I munched on my berries I stood with my nose about 12 inches above the chamomile blossoms and inhaled their delicious fragrance. Moments like that I try to ponder deeply so that I can remember them for the future – on the days when the harvest is not so abundant.
