Lemonade Lecture: Astronomy of the late 19th century

Join Derek Demeter, astronomer, and director of the Emil Buehler Planetarium at Seminole State College, for an exploration of the many fascinating astronomical discoveries uncovered during the time of Frederick deBary. After the program, enjoy an opportunity to view the sun through a state-of-the-art solar telescope (weather permitting). This presentation is part of the free Lemonade Lectures series sponsored by Volusia County. Light refreshments and lemonade will be served.
