Jim Crescitelli, director of the Winter Garden Heritage, will present a captivating story that begins thousands of years ago and continues today with Winter Garden’s vibrant, restored Downtown Historic District. Indigenous people, settlers from the Deep South, and today’s exploding population have all lived along the south shore of Lake Apopka in a shared experience. The lecture will feature archived photographic images to show the history of the region. This presentation is part of the free Lemonade Lectures series sponsored by Volusia County.
