DeBary Hall Living History Day
Visitors can walk the grounds and interact with historical characters, including legendary steamboat captain Jacob Brock.
The 37th Alabama Regiment Company H, a Civil War re-enactment group, will set up a camp and medical tent. They will offer presentations on Civil War weapons, life and artifacts.
Jim Sawgrass, a member of the Muscogee Creek Indian Tribe, will describe Native American culture and heritage in the Southeast. His son, Cody Boettner, will perform a Native American hoop dance.
There is no charge to attend the outdoor event. Tours of the site’s 1871 mansion will be available; admission prices are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $2 for children ages 3 to 12, and free for children 2 and younger.
DeBary Hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
