The 21st Annual Vermiculture Conference will be held in person and online on Saturday and Sunday, October 22 – 23, 2022.

The event will take place at the James B. Hunt Jr. Library, 1070 Partners Way, Raleigh, North Carolina 27606.

Lectures and networking will take place on: Saturday, October 22: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.  Sunday, October 23:  9:15 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

This event provides the knowledge needed to start or expand an earthworm or vermicompost production operation. Key issues for vermicomposting operations are covered in addition to how vermicompost affects plant growth and suppresses plant pests and diseases.

In 2019, 165 people attended the conference from all over the United States and throughout the globe. Past participants have come from Argentina, Aruba, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Belgium, Canada, China, Dominican Republic, England, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Latvia, Mexico, Micronesia, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Norway, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, Turkey, Uganda, United States, and Zimbabwe.
